Inner City Garden

Before After

An inner city terraced garden which is viewed primarily from the upper levels of the house has been transformed by a bold circular design and innovative planting. The crushed lime surface of the sitting area is retained by a double row of vertically cut sleepers at differing heights and allows the Black Mondo grass planting to accentutate the ciricular stucture. Natural spring water is collected in a shallow pool but allowed to trickle out over a small weir providing the opportunity to grow plants suited to boggy conditions.
