Concept plans & detailed design

Concept plans are the backbone of any new garden development and provide a framework for the overall work. These usually include the configuration of the paths, gardens and living spaces along with considerations regarding indoor /outdoor flow. Depending on the complexity of the elements used in the concept plan, additional drawings showing construction details maybe required.

Project management

Over the years I have gained experienced in managing a variety of projects from urban gardens ( both new and old) to larger scale ones such as a garden for a dementia unit, communal garden spaces for town housing and apartment blocks. The ability to work collaboratively is an essential skill in this area.

Collaborating with architects

A garden renewal is often required following a house renovation and working in with architects and architectural designers is essential in achieving a great outcome. Sometimes this can be as simple as a series of planting plans but often it requires close collaboration with the design and build team involved.  Link to Onemind Design here?

Lighting can provide the obvious practical element to any garden but can also be used to enhance your garden through highlighting trees and features and extending the visual effects of the garden especially in winter.
