An inner city terraced garden which is viewed primarily form the upper levels of the house has been transformed buy a bold circular design and innovative planting. The crushed lime surface of the sitting is retained by a double row or vertically cut sleepers at differing heights and allows the black mondo grass planting to accentuate the circular structure. Natural spring water is collected in a shallow pool but is allowed to trickle out over the small weir providing the opportunity to grow plants suited to boggy conditions.
